Ingredients
1 cup butter, softened
1 cup packed light brown sugar
½ cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoons Happy Home Natural Vanilla Flavor
1 teaspoon Happy Home Imitation Maple Flavor
1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
3 cups quick-cook oats
1 cup dark chocolate baking chips (optional)
Directions
Preheat oven to 325° F
Combine the flour, baking soda and salt together and set aside.
In a larger separate bowl, combine the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until creamed well together. Mix beaten eggs into the butter/sugar mixture. Add the Happy Home Natural Vanilla Flavor and the Happy Home Imitation Maple Flavor to this wet mixture.
Slowly add the flour mixture into the butter/sugar/egg mix. Combining well.
Finally, stir in the 3 cups of quick-cook oats and the dark chocolate chips.
Scoop approximately 1 1/4 teaspoon of cookie dough per ball onto an ungreased baking sheet (about 1" apart).
Bake for 12 minutes. Allow to cool on baking sheet for about 7 minutes before placing onto a cooling rack (as the cookies will tend to break apart, if not cooled a bit before moving them).
Enjoy!
