Southern Style Sweet Potato Pie Recipe

Ingredients:

⅓ cup butter, softened
½ cup sugar
2 eggs, lightly beaten
¾ cup evaporated milk
2 cups mashed sweet potatoes
1 teaspoon Happy Home© Imitation Vanilla Extract
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
¼ teaspoon salt
1 unbaked pastry shell (9 inches)

Direction:

1. Preheat oven to 425°F
2. In a bowl, cream butter and sugar.
3. Add eggs; mix well.
4. Add milk, sweet potatoes, Happy Home© Imitation Vanilla Extract, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg and salt; mix well.
5. Pour into pie shell.
6. Bake at 425° for 15 minutes.
7. Reduce heat to 350°; bake 35-40 minutes longer or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
8. Cool.
9. Store in refrigerator.
